Alpha's Magical Fic Exchange

I’ve been running Alpha’s Magical Fic Exhange, a Power Rangers gift exchange, for 11 years now. Is there interest in my running it again this year? If I do, would people want me to open it up to Ameritoku in general (Beetleborgs, Mystic Knights, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, etc)

I welcome all feedback on how to improve as well as to gauge interest for this years exchange. It’s very low pressure, and it’s small enough that I can do the matching by hand so I try to take people’s requests into account

I think it'd be great to run Alpha's again (and if it's running only in October this may be the first time in years that I might be able to do it, since my other October challenge isn't happening this year).

In terms of improvement, I wonder if it would be worthwhile to broaden from just fics to fics/art/podfic? I mean, I have no insight into how a stretch to Ameritoku would go, but I imagine opening the range of possible submissions might make it easier to get more participants if you think the challenge is incredibly small right now.

Eleven years?!? No way!! I don't always sign up as often as I should (thanks, imposter syndrome!) but I always love reading what's produced and so really hope it does run this year.

NGL, I like that it's a PR exchange. It seems like all of the PR exchanges have opened up into general toku now, which I guess is a reflection of the changing demographic of the fanbase. It's not a problem for me if it does broaden out - I liked Mystic Knights and Beetleborgs, and I watched VR Troopers and Masked Rider - but I do like that it's one of the remaining PR focused exchanges.

I can't imagine *not* doing Alpha's. I wouldn't request or offer other AmeriToku having never seen them, but I'm in.

I'd defiantly be interested in doing Alpha this year and if you need help running it let me know. I think more options is always a good thing. If you want to open it to art as well as fic let me know...I figured out how to do that!
